Stephenie Meyer's the Twilight Saga is about (Isabella Swan) a girl that moves in with her Dad, and she starts attending school where she ultimately meets Edward Cullen who she later learns is a vampire.

It's a good series, read, with lots of romance and a good chunk of adventure. The Twilight Series is AMAZING! If you are a guy and you read it you can gain knowledge about girls! lots of girls (like Bella) are seeking the "edwards" types. Bella's (Isabella) life changes after she meets Edward. Her best friend is a werewolf!

It sounds strange, but really is a great book and it keeps you interested from one book in the series to the next.

I can hardly wait for the next book comes out! Every single one of the books in this series is a page turner. I think girls will like these books the most, but guys should learn a few things from Edward Cullen (be romantic and charming). It's hard to explain the book.... just read it for yourself... you wont be disappointed. It's a must read.

Thanks Stephenie Meyer!

I learned a few French pickup lines and started to show them off to everyone I met. But in all seriousness, knowing a foreign tongue implies education, good taste, and refinement. I wished I could speak Italian, Farsi/Persian, Japanese, and of course Canadian :)

I couldn't believe that the majority of the world does not speak English. New thoughts and ideas are happening everywhere and they are not translated immediately. We live in a much smaller world now and we are coming into contact with more non-English speakers all the time. I've improved both my business and personal relationships by being able to communicate with people in their language, which has gained me respect and credibility.

Language is what makes us human. It is the medium we use to share our thoughts with the world. I couldn't imagine thought without language? Great language also has a wonderful musical quality (like in Farsi also known as Pesian). Learning a new language is like learning a new way to think and a new way to sing.

As a person who speaks only one language you would have no basis for comparison, because all you know is just English. In different languages the same idea is often expressed in different ways. Knowing another language gives you a great measuring stick. It will help you better understand tenses, prepositions, and all the other parts of speech we normally take for granted. You will find yourself speaking and writing more precise creative sentences. There is a reason most great writers and poets are students of many languages.

What a great introduction to the Bahai faith, it provides information about it, its writings, and its vision for humanity. This is an interesting religion, you can interpret and teach this faith and advocate for peace in the world.

I'm a 9th grade student and went on last year's British Isles and Irish heritage trip. I have to say, I'm a different person because of this trip. It's reasonably priced for what you do, we did over 12 castles, palaces and such in 20 days. Slept in hotels that were awesome and comfortable. The places we went, and people we met were really cool. I mean its not really the real deal, because they basically served us fake American food the whole trip, and we really didn't meet that many British people (my home-stay didn't even have a kid, it was a creepy old lady) and I was never harmed or even close to it. I came back with 10 memories for every day I was there.

I still talk to many people who went on the trip with me and there are people I know that are going again this year. The program is not perfect, but what in life is? The cost is not that much with what we did, 3 meals a day, hotels, plane, bus, train etc. fair, and the places we go, $6000 is way cheap for what we did. plus my family couldn't afford it, we went into my trust fund a little, got money from relatives, and the PTP gives you a huge binder on how to fundraise. bake sales, other various sales, writing to companies, and these amazing creative ideas.

I had such an amazing time, I have post cards all over my room, I still have my journal that they make you keep, I mean there's no way to forget this trip, plus you earn high school credits and for like $100 more earn collage credits,…

It's definitely worth every dollar.

My son went to Australia for 3 weeks and had a life changing experience. He was able to do things as part of the program that he would not have ever been able to do as a regular visitor, like stay with a host family for 3 days and attend an Australian school. He swam the Corals, went to the Opera House at Syndey and traveled from the northern part to the southern part of Australia.

I am a Student Ambassador and have traveled three times in the past, about to travel for my fourth time this summer. The expense has been in excess of twenty grand so far. We saved up, fundraised, and my extended family helped sponsor me. These trips change your perspective about the world. They broadened my horizons and helped me learn to see the world through other's eyes.

These trips have helped make me a better person while learning about different cultures around the world.

My daughter was on the mediterranean discovery trip with People to People Student Ambassadors. She had the time of her life and saw things that we could not have afforded to show her as a family! Everything about People to People has been fabulous! The expense was not outrageous... in fact, when one looks at the itineraries and visits the websites of the hotels that these kids are getting to stay at and experience...it is a bargain.

The monthly meetings and information were thorough and interesting. We fundraised 90% of her trip and had fun doing so. This program grants a priceless experience. People to People is an awesome organization offering our children incredible educational experiences! It is one heck of a bargain for an education that will last a LIFETIME!
